Chorley Photo Society has just been crowned as the champions of UK club photography at the PAGB finals held at Warwick university. Chorley were actually joint winners with Wigan10 and in the process beat two other FIAP World Cup winners. Interestingly Chorley PS and Wigan10 matched their scores in all three rounds.
The event comprised of the two top clubs from each federation plus the eight finalists from the previous year so it’s a tough event to succeed in. There are two rounds of eight images which are scored and the top eight clubs go into the final which consists of twenty images including a maximum of ten that have been used in the earlier rounds. An added personal bonus for me was the responsibility of being part of the selection process which is quite an interesting challenge as you try to second guess the judges. Below are my images that were used in the final and hopefully contributed to the trophy.

The images and scores for the 20 images used in the final round.
