A trip to York must always involve a visit to the Minster and this latest outing certainly did. The images below were all shot inside the building which has fairly low light levels in places so high ISOs were necessary throughout – I used a range between 1600 – 8000. A careful application of Topaz deNoise soon reduced the noise though.
Some of the artwork is outstanding in quality and detail and I have tried to faithfully and accurately capture their intricate characteristics, in essence it was ‘record photography‘, a genre I tend not to get too excited about.
