Had a first shoot with ballerina Anna Volynets at PGD Studios in Leicester. I wanted to capture and convey the grace, poise and elegance and do it in a ‘fine-art’ style if I could. Below are three images that I’ve given my usual textured approach and I quite like how they’ve turned out.
The images were shot against a white infinity curve with two large softboxes to create a soft even light that would facilitate the planned processing style.
Fine Art is a bit of a wide and probably vague descriptor but to me this means adding a little bit of mood and surrealism whilst maintaining good levels of detail in the main subject. The reality of each element varies with my mood!
This was a really productive shoot with both Anna & Alona and I will post more images in small sets over the coming weeks, currently processed images can be seen here.
