The MPAGB (Master) is the highest accreditation within the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) and I entered to see where I stand in the scheme of things. The assessment was held in Dunblane, Scotland.
So here we are at the assessment, where prints, at Badge, Credit, Distinction, Excellence and Master are all assessed by a panel of six judges. The method and scoring is same as my for my C, D and E accreditations so I won’t go into that detail, I needed to score an average of 22.5 points per print which makes a total of 450 points to pass. The printsI selected all have a track record of success in Federation, National and International exhibitions and competitions and none of them have been used in previous assessments. I have gone for a set of prints featuring a range of genres.
Well that’s that done then, that was interesting and the news is that I have passed with a total number of 478 points (28 spare). The prints that I selected are shown below along with the scores that they achieved, hopefully this will help some of you to understand whether this is something you will attempt, if so good luck.
