On Tuesday Ribblesdale and District Camera club ventures out in the miserable summer weather to the local village of Waddington. The church was opened for us and there were lots of opportunities on offer including wider images of the interior, some fine detail shots of the bright stained glass windows and also some of the intricate carvings on display. Outside the graveyard had some interesting stonework that attracted interest.
Alongside the main road runs a small stream and gardens with ornate bridge and sundials set amongst flowered beds and winding paths. Again many opportunities to shoot small landscapes plus macro shots of the many varieties of plants and flowers.
Afterwards we retired to the Lower Buck for a pint and a natter!
