On Saturday morning I took a short trip to a disused and derelict power station to have a recce prior to a shoot. I took and friend and fellow photographer and we quickly and easily gained access through a well used hole in the fence. Once inside it was clear that we weren’t the first, there was graffiti on every available piece of wall. We spent about two hours in the place and there was so much to shoot, with colour, shape and texture everywhere we looked. The graffiti was really well done and very artistic – not the usual moronic tagging that you see in the cities. I will be returning but next time with somebody to add a different dimension. Sample shots are below.
