I was invited to go and photograph a fellow club member’s local Wren, a bird that has won him many accolades and I couldn’t resist the opportunity. This is not a bird that I have seen very much of and certainly hadn’t got any photographs of the species. The weather was a bit damp and light levels a little low at first, it never really brightened up much but was just about sufficient to get 1/500 sec at ISO 3200. The Wren made a number of visits over the morning giving ample opportunity to capture the shots that I wanted.
Many thanks to John Barlow of www.jrbarlow.co.uk for giving me this fantastic opportunity. Below are a few shots from the session.
