Last year was my first at Chorley PS, a club that regularly pushes for success both nationally and internationally. I joined to give myself a challenge and to make me raise my game having had 5 or so years at Ribblesdale where I had learned the ground rules and enjoyed club life.

I expected little from my first year in terms of competition success but I am really pleased to have gained a few certificates and a medal having entered a couple of monthly comps and the annual digital competition. I even managed to have ‘Silverback’ feature on the front cover of the 2017-18 programme. Need to work hard for the coming season now.
