At a recent shoot with Cat Mida Lee, a song came on the radio – ‘Let me in at your window by Kate Bush‘, a rather haunting tune and it inspired a bit of a theme as Cat has the look of Kate B.
I couldn’t get the tune out of my head after this and I still can’t! and I had a go at creating an image with the lyrics still whizzing around. A simple composite was called for I think, this then went through a number of iterations before the final image was before me.

The image simply consists of a head-shot of Cat, a window from the Black Country Living Museum and a Victorian style lamp-post. I was careful with colour selection as I wanted the individual parts to fit together well with a simple but cohesive palette.
