This was a long awaited and anticipated shoot that I had booked with Natasha having spotted her portfolio on the Purple Portal website. The day had come and I made my way over to Burley for a four hour session in a state of uncertainty, this was going to take me out of my photographic comfort zone! Camera bag was packed alongside a simple two head lighting kit. I had already spoken to Natasha prior to the shoot and sent over some ideas that I had for the day. The first location was in a bright and airy conservatory where there was plenty of soft light coming in from the overcast conditions outside. We utilised the wicker style furniture and I was really pleased with the results. Secondly we used a corner of the dark panelled passageway this time using the lighting kit with two shoot through umbrellas. The third part of the day was more of a boudoir style shoot where I asked Natasha set the scene and run through her poses. Having got over my initial uncertainties this was a memorable day made even better by Natasha’s energy, enthusiasm and professional but fun approach. Not only a stunning looking model but also a real nice person who was just so easy to work with.
I love reading a post that will make people think.
