The Vyne is a 16th-century country house outside Sherborne St John, Basingstoke, Hampshire, England and was built for Lord Sandys, King Henry VIII’s Lord Chamberlain. The photos which were taken inside the Vyne were taken using just the natural light from the windows plus some reflectors to bounce the light back and fill in some shadows with the ISO cranked up to 800-1600. The external shots were taken with the natural light available but with some additional flash lighting to give a slight boost.
The costumes and masks in the shots below were created for the 2014 Venice carnival by Manuela Reichert and were brought to the UK specifically for this shoot at the Vyne which was organised by Mike Jones.

The costumes shown include:
Angelo d’amore – Angel of love
Anna Karenina and Escorts
Donna Pavone – The Peacock
Jollys – Clowns
Regina della Notte – Queen of the night
Serenissima
Tramonto – Sunset
