It was another early start, the weather forecast showed a little sun very early and then bright with little wind. So off I went with the camera gear to a local field, with my portable camouflaged hide, where I have permission to go on the land. The field next to where I pitched the hide had a small herd of cows who were incredibly curious with the new addition to the farm and came over to check me out, perhaps this is where the phrase ‘nosy cows’ comes from!
The was a varied array of wildlife to be seen including Owls, Curlews, Hares and Rabbits alongside the more common woodland birds. After five hours I needed a brew and some breakfast so set off home to see how the images would come out.
