October and a fine, dry day encouraged us to go on a walk outside before the privilege was taken away from us in the latest Covid-19 lockdown. So, off to Tarn Hows, a National Trust site in the English Lake District for a leisurely walk around the tarn which was adorned with warm autumnal colours. Although it was a bright day there was no sun to be seen to bring the colours to life and the landscape looked a little flat as a result. I tried to capture the surrounding at three levels (1) wider landscape views, (2) tighter cropped parts of the landscape and finally (3) macro images of the details within.
