I know it’s just a frog, a common one at that, but it’s a photo too. So what! Well it’s the first photo I’ve taken in nearly six months that’s what, I would normally have taken thousands in that timeframe but lockdowns then a bad dose of Covid-19 put paid to that. So a photo of a frog is a step forward and that means a lot at the moment, it’s the start of a new normal and much anticipated freedom – maybe, at least I hope so.
The frog itself was in a neighbours garden pond, sat atop a mountain of frogspawn to which it’s was adding its own potential offspring. I had initially gone there to gather a little spawn to share with a granddaughter so that she could learn a little of nature’s miracles but then returned home to get my camera and grab this shot.

Nice one Steve. Hope you are fully recovered from the dreaded Covid. I’m sure you will be back to photography as the world hopefully opens up.
