Hidden away at Rivington is a Folly designed and built as a ruined castle in Victorian times by the Lever family. An event was planned where the castle would be used as the backdrop to a gown adorned Amy Lishman and four lupine dogs provided by Kuckinniwi. The plan was to create a fairytale / fantasy set of images using various aspects of the building with the dogs providing an extra narrative to the set. The challenge with all things photography is to try to create something unique or out of the ordinary and the ingredients were certainly there to do this. My task was to then make my photographs different to other’s that were also there at the time and there has been a bit of post-processing going on with a few of the images to achieve this.
