To support a calendar for a local camera club and agricultural manufacturer I was invited to a farm just outside of town to capture some images. We were given free access to areas normally outside of the public’s benefit where we could witness life on the farm for a few hours and we timed to it to grab some images leading up to milking time. I am very grateful to the farm owners, James and Sarah for letting us on-site on a real working dairy farm. I certainly got some images that I haven’t had before and that’s always a good thing, additionally I’m sure that the calendar will benefit from our afternoon’s work too.

After a brief discussion it appears that my family and the farmers share some ancestors so I will have to check out our family tree and see where they fit in. Some images from the day are shared below…
