A great Saturday at Whitby provided some opportunities for some really interesting shots and something not previously in my portfolio. It was a uncharacteristically warm and sunny February day and was almost surreal for a ‘first-timer’ like me at Whitby as the bizarre and creative participants paraded their costumes and inventions in the small seaside town. There were opportunities galore and after hanging around the whale bones for a while we went over the harbour and selected a couple of dark side streets and awaited our next ‘subjects’- this provided us with better backdrops to the tremendous people that we photographed.
The images are still being developed and can be seen in the SteamPunk section on the menu at the top of the page. If you are featured in any of the shots please drop me a line and I will send you copies of the images.
