I spent a day at the Black Country Living Museum which is an excellent exhibition of times gone by. It is based in Dudley in the West Midlands and features, streets, buildings and transport principally from the Victorian era. Each aspect is built and furnished in great detail according to the era which it represents. You can wander around the streets and canals at will, go into the workplaces and shops and be educated in an interesting way, well worth a visit – but take a day to explore fully. Below are a few shots from my visit.
